I bought and read this book just because of my favourite author Lisa Jewell's recommendation.
The book starts with the difficult daughter "Avery", a 9-year-old of Dr Wooler, who went missing one afternoon, last seen by Dr Wooler at home alone. It's been four days or 96 hours
The entire neighbourhood is deeply affected, with parents at the wake consistently checking on their children. It's believed that she has died by now, the abductor must have killed her or assaulted her.
The investigation into each neighbour’s son and daughter has commenced, revealing the deepest and darkest secrets of every family living on the row.

Secrets are emerging from unexpected places. Trust is nonexistent, and it feels like everyone in the neighbourhood has a Reason to abduct and kill Avery Wooler.
