I had high hopes for "Things Every Kid Should Know About God" by Alex Haynes, but ultimately, I can't recommend it. While the book attempts to introduce children to various spiritual concepts, it heavily focuses on one particular religion. This approach can feel like an imposition, as it encourages kids to respect and research a single viewpoint without fostering a broader understanding of diverse beliefs.
Although other religions are mentioned, they're condensed into just one page, which doesn't do justice to their richness and significance. For young readers, exposure to a variety of perspectives is crucial in nurturing empathy and curiosity about the world.
