Honestly, I loved it much more than I expected. I was rooting for Roman and Iris from the early start, their banter was hilarious. I got lost in their beautifully written articles and I found myself thinking of becoming a journalist. Their rivalry was so fun and had me blushing the whole time. When they started sending each other letters, I was so excited for Roman to reveal to Iris that it was actually him the whole time. (P.S. The letters were actually so sweet!💗) I fell in love with the minor characters - Sarah, Attie, Marisol, and Keegan. The ending was maybe a bit predictable but very well written and such a satisfying conclusion to the novel. Can’t wait to read the second book! 📖

This book will take you on an adventure filled with magical passageways, mythical creatures, and above all - love.
