The story revolves around Mahika, a woman who, after facing multiple miscarriages, finally carries a genetically altered fetus created by her brilliant husband, Shivam. What seems like the start of a perfect family soon spirals into darkness, with Mahika receiving strange, anonymous notes that make her question her relationship with her husband and the genetic manipulation of their unborn son.

The book starts as a romantic backstory but quickly morphs into an intense, mind-bending thriller. The characters are unreliable, with hidden agendas that kept me questioning their motives throughout. Mahika’s journey of discovering the truth about her husband and the extraordinary abilities of her unborn child is both heart-wrenching and terrifying.

The climax absolutely took me by surprise—just when I thought I had it all figured out, the author threw in an unexpected twist that left me in awe. Author’s narrative is sharp and doesn’t leave any loose ends, keeping the suspense high right until the last page.

This book isn’t for the faint-hearted; it touches on themes of control, manipulation, and the dangers of pushing science too far. But for those who enjoy thrillers with a unique scientific premise and multiple cliffhangers, I Hear You will not disappoint.

I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy psychological thrillers, especially those who love a climax that comes out of nowhere and knocks the wind out of you.
